A studio behind your brand, and a tide we pay back.
oceanone exists so digital work is easy to get, easy to resell, and honest about who it employs.
Why we started
Agencies were saying no to work they could sell, because they did not have the people on the bench. We started oceanone so they could say yes, keep the client, and still sleep.
The founder is from Cape Town, South Africa. The sea is not a metaphor we borrowed. Waves, coast, and giving back sit in the name and in the books: 1% of net revenue goes to ocean conservation.
How the work is done
- We make digital services easy to get for agencies: a brief, a quote, delivery under your name.
- We employ people in developing countries on equal terms, and we put particular weight on employing women there, with pay and training, not a slogan.
- Quality assurance is done in Europe, to the requirements each client names. That gate sits between delivery and what you send on.
A note from the founder
I grew up with the Atlantic on one side and the work of building things on the other. oceanone is the attempt to hold both: a delivery partner agencies can trust, and a company that puts 1% back into the ocean and puts paid work in the hands of people who are too often priced out of this industry.
If we do this well, you never have to mention us to your client. That is the point.
