Basic
- A suburb-based local presence.
For shops and service-area businesses. The work targets near-me searches, keeps the Google Business Profile useful, and makes the name, address, and phone number consistent across directories. Basic covers a suburb. Advanced covers a capital city or a region. Multi-location covers searches that name more than one place.
The summary cites 46% of Google searches having local intent, and 88% of consumers calling or visiting a business within 24 hours of finding it online. BrightLocal (2022) is cited for a separate figure: up to 88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation. These are market figures, not a promised ranking.
The business is easier to see and to reach for people searching in its area.
The profile is maintained so maps and local results can send people to the door.
The visits are from people looking for what the business already sells.
The same name, address, and phone number across directories is what makes the local record believable.
Each level can be upgraded as the business grows. Pick the geography the client actually serves.
How it runs
You open the project in the portal and send a brief. If we create a new Google Business Profile, Google may post a PIN to the premises. Setup can take three to four weeks once that PIN arrives promptly.
Local SEO repeats the business name, address, and contact details. Send them in the form they should be published: website URL, opening hours, business name, physical address, and phone number, plus at least two reviews a month.
A new Google Business Profile often needs the postcard PIN before it can be verified. Without a prompt PIN, the three-to-four-week setup does not start cleanly. Other review sites, such as TrueLocal and Yellow Pages, still need to be kept up to date.
The profile only stays useful if the reviews and the business details keep arriving.
| Task | Your agency | |
|---|---|---|
| We post the reviews you send, spaced out so they do not look planted. | ||
| We build local-directory citations from the details you approved. | ||
| We send a monthly Google Maps ranking report and an analytics report. | ||
| We keep the Google Business Profile updated for as long as the campaign runs. | ||
| Open the project and complete the brief, including markets, goals, brand, offer, keywords, and any photos or files. | ||
| The name, address, phone number, website, and opening hours, in the exact published form. | ||
| At least two reviews a month that we can publish. | ||
| The Google PIN, promptly, if a new profile has to be verified. |

Local visibility and leads can improve. The position of a listing, and how many listings the first page shows, change often.
This sits inside a wider plan. Reviews have to keep coming. TrueLocal, Yellow Pages, and the other review sites still need maintaining. Recent changes to Google's local results mean we cannot guarantee a specific outcome.
Community content is the usual follow-on: articles on local events, videos on local topics, and infographics with local figures. Customer photos, reviews, and stories strengthen the same local record.
Local paid search can sit beside the organic work, aimed at the same area. The summary also suggests saying that Bing local reaches a different slice of the market, so the client is not only on Google.
