The fee is a custom quote, and it varies from site to site. Hours past the 2 included on Basic are charged per hour. On monitoring without a package, restoring a backup, fixing a downed site, and removing malware are extra. A backup usually takes 3 to 5 hours.
The plan waits when the choice or the approval is late. This is the split.

Crawlers check the site every 5 minutes. If it is down, we wait 10 to 15 minutes, then email you. You can tell the client to contact their host. Fixing the outage is not included.
Daily and weekly malware checks. If we find malware, we tell your team. Removing it is not included in this option.

One-off website work: Changes, malware removal, a move to another host, SSL, HTML signatures, and WordPress hardening are Ad-hoc Web Support. Each of those is quoted on its own.
A faster load: The package checks performance. Making the site faster, with PageSpeed tests and a before-and-after report, is Site Speed Improvement.
Why the updates matter: Malware can return if the software, themes, or plugins are not kept up to date. That is the reason to stay on a package after a one-off cleanup.
